Consistent like a thermostat

My pastor used to talk about the thermostat and how it is not affected by its environment. Instead it affects its environment.

Taking this into perspective, I came up with some pretty awesome thoughts.

It is possible to be like a thermostat, in this case being happy and cheerful no matter what.

Smiling, no matter how bad my day was and being nice to people no matter how I feel.

Offering service to God, irrespective of my health, or any other commitments.

Being a thermostat for me means being stable and consistent in my good personality.

I know it is possible, so I aim for it.
